Amritsari Chole Masala - Taste of Punjab
Serves: 4 – 5 people
Recipe Instructions:
- Soak 200g of Chana (Chickpeas) overnight.
- Pressure cook the soaked Channa with 1 tsp of salt until soft. (2-3 Whistle)
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan and sauté onion (1 chopped) until golden brown along with chopped ginger & green chillies (2).
- Add Sarva Chole Masala (1 tbsp) and the boiled Channa/ chickpeas to the pan without draining the water.
- Check the salt to taste and let it simmer until the gravy thickens.
- Your Amritsari Chole is now ready!
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with Poori or Bhature (Breads).
